The book “BUILD PROSPERITY – Energizing Manitoba’s Local Economy” written by Shaun Loney is now available free of charge on line @buildinc.ca. Shaun is the Executive Director of BUILD a Winnipeg based social enterprise creating jobs for young people in Winnipeg’s North End. The book is an attempt to influence public policy on two connected issues: poverty and the reliance on fossil fuel .

“Inner City Renovation – How a Social Enterprise Changes Lives and Communities” has been nominated for the ANSER-ARES Best Book Award. The award  by the Association for Nonprofit and Social Economy Research (ANSER) is given to the best book in the social economy sector in Canada published in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
